Release notes version 4.2
Version 4.2 is a maintenance release, containing extended functionality in addition to a number of improvements as well as code corrections. It is made available through an off-hour upgrade between August 20th and 27th 2010. A message on your login page will inform you of the actual upgrade date for your installation.

Links to Dapresy Pro Reports from SharePoint, web pages or your own intranet.
With the function "Share Snapshot" you are able to link individual report pictures from Chart Creator to your home page, intranet or your clients’ home pages. A user clicking the report picture will be automatically linked (encrypted) to the Chart Creator in Dapresy Pro and may from there create or modify reports emanating from the original graph.
Reporting of numeric values in graphs
This release introduces an extended functionality, supporting the reporting of numerical questions for the chart types pie, time bar vertical and stacked vertical. The new graphs enable more efficient reporting of questions where the answer type is numeric. Moreover, you can now import values <1 and negative values.
Sort order in graphs
The sort order for series in graphs may now automatically be defined as ascending or descending for both name and value as well as pre-defined sort order for answer/questions. Earlier Dapresy Pro versions offer manual definition per series and question. Through this new feature an increased number of reporting areas can efficiently display relations between large data volumes.
Local language in the system’s report buttons
Dapresy Pro now allows for interface language to be selected in the reporting application by the administrator. All messages and screen elements can be translated.
This means that the system can be used to publish results to a non-English speaking audience.
Loading time for interactive graphs
The dynamic chart function now supports pre-generation of the chart that the user sees when the interactive chart creator is first opened. This gives a much improved user experience, particularly when reporting on large and complex data sets.
Better performance when navigating within a report
Improved logic for the construction of individual access rights to menus as well as for the reporting of interface data gives faster navigation and fewer report page reloads.
Better performance when navigating between the menus in the administrative interface
This new functionality ”caches” the user’s menu choices in the administrative interface, making navigation between different menus more “snappy" and direct.
More efficient Stakeholder Reports
Better performance at generating Stakeholder Reports. New calculation logic enhances the report generation efficiency with up to 60% compared to earlier versions. The solution makes use of more effective database calls through a better adaptation to large sets of unique reports and to large volumes of respondents.
Reporting of Share of Voice information
To clarify the Share of Voice information, when reported in the same graph as survey data, Dapresy introduces a new standard which means that the Share of Voice is displayed as dotted lines. This standard allows for clearer reporting of time-series where both survey data and the Share of Voice data are reported as lines in the time-series graph.
