Reference database

It is now possible to store, calculate and report benchmark values derived from any of your research projects. Data from the reference database is available across all projects, enabling the user to use all projects in the system as a data source for reporting and comparison.

This new module enables the user to define a hierarchical structure of reference items, such as reference questions, reference answers and paths in a reference database tree structure. The reference items can calculate aggregated values on any given level from the top node, to the lowest leaf. Choose between several calculation methods and add unique attributes to any given data batch for the highest flexibility on your reporting.

Table Tool Support for Significance Testing

The table tool has been enhanced to support Z-tests for significance testing. Testing can be made between columns in a result set or against a previous time period for a result set.

Results are displayed in the table using colour coding to indicate a significant difference at the confidence level selected (1%, 5% or 10%) :

The system now supports making significance tests over the entire result. The user can freely select the target result set and comparison result set dates. For reasons of statistical validity the two time periods cannot over lap each other.

As with the column based testing the results are highlighted in the table using color coding.

Improved User Interface In Table Tool

The table tool has been enhanced to improve performance when selecting questions. This is particularly important when projects have a large number of variables: selecting columns, rows and filters to use in cross tabulations is now nearly instant.

New Project Selection Page

A new page has been added to improve the user experience when logging into manager and selecting projects to view or administrate. For the first release the existing My Page remains as the default, the new page is available from the menu on My Page.

Export of Survey as a Word Document Improvements

Question and answer codes are now included in the output report.

Paging in Administration pages

Many pages in the project administration have been updated to include paging in tables to enable users to work with larger numbers of answers and questions
