New features

Questionnaire export

Created questionnaires can be exported into MS Word so it is possible to see question texts, answer texts and question type.

More flexible external data

It is now possible for users to define their own brand codes when importing external data. The reporting of external data is also more flexible since it is now possible to have sub brand lists for up to five different sources. This means it is possible to report media spending, sales figures, reach, GRP etc. with different brand lists and sub brand lists (for example media type).

Improved Cross Tabulation tool

Users can now save their cross tabulations as favorites. The function is called My Table reports and works in a similar way to the My Chart Reports functionality.

A new function allows users to create their own derived variables in the Cross Table interface and use them as filters for example.

The active filters are shown in the table legend so it is more clear what values the table is showing.

When showing data over time it might be interesting to instead of seeing the actual values see the difference from the first data point. This is now possible with the Reference function that enables the user to choose the first column or the previous column as reference value.

Show weighted or unweighted number of respondents

It is now possible for administrators to select if weighted or unweighted number of respondents shall be shown in the chart legend.

New question types

Numerical questions

It is now possible to import numeric questions without answer block. Instead a min and a max value are defined. The numeric questions can be used for both library projects and Express projects and will be useful when creating derived variables like for example “Region” based on answers from a zip code question or “Age group” based on age question.

Open text questions

Possibility to import and report open ended answers. See information under New report types.

New report types

Open answers

A new report for analyzing open ended answers has been developed. It is possible to filter as for other reports and displayed are question text, interview date, answer text and all filter variables in the project. There is also a search function for text matching.

New chart types

Positive/Negative share

Chart showing positive and negative share for an answer. When setting up the report each answer alternative is set to be positive or negative. The negative share is shown below 0 on the y axis and the positive share is shown above the y axis.

Ad hoc bar chart

Chart type similar to vertical time bars, but with answer alternatives on the chart axis instead of in the legend. The chart can be used for both multiple and single choice questions.

Average line chart

This chart is a line connecting averages for different scale questions. X axis contains averages, y axis contains scale questions and the lines represent different target groups.

Improved work processes

Import questions and answers to the library from Excel

In the library a function is added that enables users to import questions and answer blocks from an Excel file. The imported file is validated and the questions can then be used for creating questionnaires for projects.

Import report settings from Excel

Static chart reports can now be defined through an Excel file import. The Excel file is a template that is downloaded from the project and can contain the following settings: Sub navigation within reports, information texts, chart types, min/max scale, time period, moving average. Questions, filters and external data are still defined in the Manager interface. This function will save time since it is possible to reuse already defined reports.
