Charts and Columns in Stakeholder/Employee projects
New chart and the columns on the side of the charts have more possibilities:
- New chart type called ‘Free selection Positive negative’ where multi index, index and questions can be selected and reported
- 'Share per answer' chart type has now limit on 21 answer alternatives and not 14 as it was earlier
- It’s possible to report historical values in Matrix charts
- Columns, new options:
- Show X-levels up Neutral share
- Show X-levels up Positive share
- Number of answers included Do not know/No answer
Advanced Filter Groups
It is now possible to create a large number of Filter groups in the system. You can easily create new Filter groups out of your variables or background variables by selecting which questions, and which answers you want to filter on. The Filter group gets its name from "question text" – "answer text". E.g. Question: Gender, Answer: Male, Female renders two Filter groups; Gender – Male and Gender – Female.
New project type: EmployeeExpress
Now there is a new project type called EmployeeExpress that makes work in employee projects much easier. You do not longer need to use Library to create questionnaire or report pages. Everything can now be done in Employee Express. Following steps are needed to create a project:
- Define Surveys if more than one year’s data/ one wave will be reported
- Import Universe file
- Import SPSS file. Meta data will be picked up from SPSS file and used in project
- Activate data
- Create report pages
- Define columns if any
- Generate data
Other new functions in Express project:
Group Question filters: Create filter and hide questions for different groups in organization
Adding new questions/answer: Import new SPSS file with new questions or/and new answers and they will be added to the project.
Edit organization structure: Move respondents from one group to another after universe and data are imported.
Universe file: Reimport Universe file with new group names or add new groups and still have your project intact
Report Holders: Import Excel file with report holders and there access right and passwords
Aggregate Data from Child Nodes: Show number of respondents for each group or aggregate data
Hide groups in Excel export: Hide groups in Excel export which does not pass the Anonymity rules.
Delete metadata: If you need to delete your metadata in project and import new one.
Delete case data: Delete case data that is not correct or needed
Action plans: Action and planning has been included in the new project type: Stakeholder Express.
Sort order: Sort order of questions in all admin pages are changed to follow same sort order as SPSS file had
Dashboards
It is now possible to create a Dashboard in Add to Reports. You can easily save your generated Charts from Chart Creator into a standalone dashboard report. The Dashboard can contain limitless charts, which will be displayed as two columns were the page size varies with number of charts added. Any Chart in the dashboard can be brought up in a bigger size by a single click.
Process:
- Define your chart in Chart Creator with filter, chart options etc.
- In Add to Reports:
- At Report name level: Create a Report
- At the Folder name level: chose type Dashboard and define your dashboard page headline

- At the Slide level: define your chart headline set a name to the slide or detailed table to be shown in the dashboard.

- Generate your Dashboard via Generate Static Charts.
Repeat 2a, 2b, 2c to add more chart to the Dashboard.
The sorting order decides the placement of the chart within the Dashboard, where 1 = 1st row, 1st column, 2 = 1st row 2nd column, 3= 2nd row, 1st column…

Drilldown
Drilldown functionality has been added to Manager in two different areas:
- In Chart Creator

- In Dashboards (By clicking on any of the dashboard charts)
The Drilldown function let the user drill down in a chart to see the respondent data in a detailed table. The columns shown in the table are predefined by the administration. Limitless table definitions can exist, and one is chosen as default in Setup Reports when setting up the Chart Creator. In Chart Creator the user can easily change which table definition to use and consequently have different drilldowns to different charts within the Dashboard. E.g. this can be used to view the open ended comments to a chart where only the categorical other option is presented.

Detail table
It is possible create the Detailed table as a separate report.
Process:
- At Report name level: Create a report
- At Folder name level: Chose type = Detailed Table
In this report filter boxes are available which lets the user narrow down the selection even further. The detailed table uses the filters which have been enabled for the Chart Creator.
