Hierarchical Filters in Brand Projects

The system has been enhanced to support a tree structure for reporting and access to data and documents in Brand and Brand Express projects.

Access to filters can be defined at the report holder user level, and is applied to all reporting within the system.

A filter is built with freely definable levels based on the response to a question. Grouping can be defined as the administrator requires with levels defined in a hierarchy, e.g. specific business address, town, region, country for instance.

Chart Creator

In dynamic charts the user can freely combine selections within the areas that they are allowed to see. Selections within the tree are combined so that the chart reports the total for any selected items, or as a compare by item.

Static Charts and the Document Library

For static charts the system automatically generates a chart for each item in the hierarchy. Users are granted access based on the permissions granted by the system administrator or project manager. The document library also supports the hierarchical filter, allowing the administrator to publish documents to users with access to specific items in the tree.


Table Tool Hierarchical Filters

The table tool has also been enhanced to support the hierarchical filter functionality. Users can make the same selections in the dynamic table tool as in the chart creation tool to allow sophisticated analysis based on the hierarchy defined in the project.


Top Line support for Hierarchical Filters

Top line reports reflect the users access permissions to items in the hierarchy.
